Name Racket tailed Drongo Scientific Name Dicrurus Paradiseus Location Thattekad, Kerala. Notes Streaming tail feathers give the bird it's name. Found in dense forests and bamboo jungle. Has various calls ranging from musical to harsh. It's a great sight to see the swishing tail as it flies across the forest canopy. Unfortunately, the specimen that we've photographed above had a far smaller set of streamers.
