The Gram Blue has tiny tails on the hindwing. On the upperside, males have two black spots by each tail and females have a subterminal arc of black spots by each tail.The upperside of the male is purple and in the female it is dark brown.

The underside of both sexes have arcs of brown dots on the wings.
