The Common Crow is a glossy chocolate brown butterfly with two sets of white spots along its wing margins.

Within the genus Euploea itself it has two mimics - the Double Branded Crow and the Brown King Crow. The Malabar Raven, Common Mime (clytia) and the female Great Eggfly also mimic this butterfly.
